How did it happen?
I was a fine vessel once,
sturdy and proud,
withstanding the pounding
waves of strife,
nary a tremor to betray me.
Now, I'm awash, drowning
my sorrows in
stagnant waters, wondering
if anyone will notice
my sinking.
