An old cliché says:
"The pen is mightier than the sword."
'Tis a true saying.
There is nothing so powerful as a word.
When spoken, the Word of God
brought the universe into creation,
from nothing.
Now, written down,
the same word has controlled
the destiny of the earth
for thousands of years.
Wars have come and gone,
kingdoms have risen and fallen,
societies have been created,
thrived, then deteriorated and died.
but still the Word
controls the destiny of men!
Words can harm,
the claws of a beast,
tearing at your soul,
or as a soothing balm,
they can heal.
They can excite or calm a man.
They can be a vicious cutting weapon,
or a skillful tool.
Whether uttered or written,
words create:
they unite or divide,
incite or convince,
touch or terrorize
the masses of the people.
What will you write today?
Will it be love, or hate?
Will it be healing or ruinous?
Will it be life or death?
Will you harm someone, or
make their day?
Unfortunately, I've an idea, but the words just don't seem to come at the moment! But, that's how it goes sometimes, doesn't it?

Already contributed too much of my non-sense for one day. What will I write tomorrow; however, might be more pertinent. Scintillating questions like, will it suck, or not?? Another excellent piece Dallas. Always a gift to read what's on your mind.
