In the misty darkness, the void wept.
Amidst the deluge bulged the bud of creation.
Chaos sought to engulf the bloom,
its flames lapping against the leaves, yet,
could not overwhelm the waters.
Came a voice, and
Nature forced herself upon the void,
the bursting bloom pouring forth in
fire and ice, greening and seas,
each petal a new layer of power
spreading upon the face of
eternal garden:
With a bang, time began,
the seasons a metronome of life,
in the celestial dance of
Creation's Bloom.
Fabulous, Dallas. Truly visionary. Like a double-edged sword. One of your best, I think. Taut and superbly crafted, this oozes strong images and highly imaginative concepts. Love it! :)) xx
A further collection of poems, many from years in the Middle East, but also the California San Francisco and Central Coast areas (Santa Cruz, Carmel, Big Sur, Berkeley, etc.).
My book of poetry is being redone by me, I have a beautiful cover designed and the book will have a few more than 200 poems in it. I am going to have it printed on demand here in Canada. When it is done I will let you know when it is done and if anyo
