Sunset gives way to the night,
the last gasp of peach wisps
shivering against evening star.
Tall cedars stand in array
guarding the west, as
breezes die, stillness reigns.
Bats come out to play,
their dizzy arial maneuvers the
final dance of the night.
I can feel the night breeze fading into stillness, the majesty of cedar "guardians," and the joy of watching nature come alive in the "final dance of night." Awesome.
