I perceive that your frustration is not with "bad poetry" but the unteachable sprit of your student (s). Have patience, my friend, we were all young once.
...Which is exactly why I don't write poetry. I rhyme really well; as for my meter, it SUCKS EGGS! LOL And I'm happiest doing stories anyway! :) Leave the poetry to those who can do it; I for one will stick to stories! Well done, Dallas, I hear ya!

I'm going to get a t-shirt that says "NOUN" on it. It would fit me well. Those pronouns are like wild hyenas!
I AM GLAD YOU EXPLAINED WHAT CACOPHONY MEANS...BECAUSE I WAS ON MY WAY TO MY DICTIONARY...WHICH BY THE WAY I DO KEEP NEARBY.
