EXCELLENT! EXCELLENT! You have captured the truth perfectly, Gwen - and yummmmmmmmmm....I wish I could have some..........but nuts, i'm oh-so-allergic to this gift from God! When I was a child, my father cut a huge strawberry patch, and i was his only helper...it was a ton of work, weeding, but oh, the AROMA...that would waft in the country air.
Miss the air...miss my dad...thanks for the nostalgic moments, Gwen.

Love this sweet delightful piece...now I yearn for a slice.....yummy!!

Ahhh such a heavenly dessert it is too; perhaps my very favorite of all, try it with just a little bit of chocolate sauce run around the rim of the plate...I am salivating at the thought. Delicious poem, Gwen.
