Inspirational Fire

Inspiration whispers sweet words in my ear
Teasing and tempting with vowel sounds clear

Issuing phrases that flow through my mind
Enchanting fragments of creative line

Irresistible bait, to my writing desire
Thus, I'm seduced by inspiration's fire

Its heat stimulates my urge to create
Poems of love and of treacherous fate

I engage in this passionate verbal romance
Conceiving, at last, from this lustful dance

Passion explodes in life celebration
As I give birth to a new creation

A toast to the fruit of my love, newly born,
"To inspiration's child, my newest poem!"
