As I drove down a road today, reflecting on some of the better times in my life, I remembered a wonderful man, who was my neighbor's dad and a minister at the church I taught Sunday school craft classes at. I wrote this little poem in memory of him. . .
Holy Man by The Poetess (SRP)
I once knew a minister
(His name was Tom)
Who touched countless hearts
Before his time was gone.
He never preached the bible
Or stuffed it down our throat.
He just lived and shared the lessons
He learned from what it wrote.
