I’ve come to the conclusion of late

That life can be tiresome or great

Each morning with the sun in the sky

I muse for a moment and ask why?

Why it is one god has different meanings

Depending on your particular leanings

We’re lent on this earth for a very short time

And I can’t understand the reason or rhyme

That causes man to kill and to maim

When deep down we’re all the same

Whatever our race, colour or creed

To be loved is our greatest need.

It doesn’t take much to realise

Who are the stupid, who are the wise

And who will walk through heavens gate

I’ve come to that conclusion of late.

So true, Tony; we are all brothers under the skin. This world has always been a battleground for religion and race. Very thought provoking piece! Well done!

Blessings & Peace,
