 We are all just animals

huddling in the darkness

yearning

pining

for some piece of warmth

seeking comfort

like moths to a flame

always wanting

helpless

shivering

the last of our warmth

passing from our lips

as we grow frail

dressing the earth

with our cold bones

Yes I can see the reasoning behind this but I think the one thing that may separate us from animals is the ability to hope....

I love the sentiment of this piece! Wanting....warmth...comfort...these are the desires of life and make us whole. But also move us toward decay. This is philosophically amazing.
