The night descends and drapes
herself about me
holding me captive
hushed and bound
I have never seen her on this
wise
quiet steeped in
hushed nothingness
stark void
no
I have never seen her
on this wise prior
her dark light
sparking memories
sweet and sad
alas..
mostly sad
truth be told
I run to my parchment
to capture her hushed stare
as awakened in me
something birthed
something born
a portrait of her yes,
she who sings the hushed song
too quiet
no never
for she stirs rakes
my soul deep
as she whispers her secrets
only to me
yet untold
my lover, my captor,
my stillness
inhaled
her quiet walks tall
and her hushed
whisper small
the night
unheard and undone
she pierces me deep
as warmth touches stone
she mirrors my entrails of
horror
demons marching in bands
she saddles my light whisper
with night stalking hands
yet I have never seen her
on this wise prior
the night
darkness her mantle
she wraps me in
hushed quiet her melody
she distributes at hand
in silent lullaby
the night
hush
can you hear her
for she marches in
muted droves
the night
hear her scream
inside
yes
the night

the night must be my thing. Everyone else is ready to go to bed and retire, but me, I welcome the night, except when everything is closed, when you need something, Thank God for all night stores, but seriously, why is it, for some, the night is when you come alive and wonder what the world would be like if everything ran on schedule as in the day,,,,great thoughts, great share,, the night, she is a great wonder as the sea is,isn't she,,,
