To the reader. We realize, that it is most wise for us to know-that it is necessary for us to go through different stages of life in order to grow.Sometimes I find that it seems almost impossible to wait. Waiting for things to change or to just get better can oft-times make things more difficult. But alas! We all must be patient & wait. These are GROWING pains that GLORIFY His Name. The old saying:"tomorrow is another day" i'd think to say. The book of Psalm 27 verse 14, quickly reminds me that my Heavenly-Father has made for me His plan for my life journey:"Wait on the Lord:be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the Lord" . Special thanks to all. Enjoy the read.I dedicate this poem to my late baby sister Evelyn O. Simon who passed away recently on Sunday, April 28, 2019. She was my biggest cheerleader, who made G. M. McDowell's official Author website 2018 as seen at the bottom scroll down of my authorsden home page. She is an angel now.She is living in Heaven with our Father. This is now my "Caterpillar" stage!Evelyn O. Simon is now the most beautiful butterfly who has spread her Love...Agape` wings of love to the world with her joy,hopes,and inspirational gifts. May God give my family courage to grow & strength to heal from the pain of this loss of physical life on earth...Now we must have the divine courage to wait! We all must "fight-the-good-fight"! Amen!

Butterfly(s)  must Wait.
But... don't know how much-more of this I can take.

For now... how in-the-world is it;
that I have begun and still remain and become
the One & the Only CATERPILLAR - Wound-Up,... Bound-Up,
and then found... ALONE!  left... - emobile ,... (s)he ...
then waits  & has to sit? So hard to believe-all this?

For how... now this brown's-"cow" still provides
the "milk-of-human kindness" .
For the  meek or wicked or Strong or afflicted...

To drink or sip...from the fountain stream(s) of Holy Purple Mountains
things seem.Thee "Great Majesty"  means... to be caught manifest...
"in the long-awaited"  blue sky high winds-winged-clouds  &  things that will always "ace" the "Life-Journey" test(s) and brings ...

Such HEAVENLY & DELIGHTFUL Beams-seen;
that  "take-flight" ... "like" the Butterfly... when
COURAGE - waits...then...a need to be
left alone to fight the "good - fight"  in this place with this face.

DIVINELY  orchestrated SOUNDS of-which only the Redeemed can HEAR, OH...Dear ...such a festival of Hope I find up-in here!

Trumpets  &  Harps will sound,... of no greater act(s)  than this will be FOUND other than this... reminding all that are His.
And It is ever so-clever ... remembering that we know ...
that Our First  LOVE  will teach us everything that
will help us-all to GROW & His  LOVE  is forever NEAR.

For now... it is clear... no doubt, but with HOPE I shall hear...
These WORDS-only that I do take...make LOVE & TRUTH...  a  FACT...
 "for God's - sake"! Which indeed is  a   certainty  that..

"Butterfly(s) MUST  -   WAIT" ...!
Holy  Promise  is the CATERPILLAR  -  Pain(s)  and   "Courage"
                         MAKES ;
THEE   Best  &  Most  "beautiful"  Butterfly(s)...   that  WAIT..
.it's ... "Divine" ...  Fate...

oh...yes - yes - yes... the best...  the very  beautiful,... Butterfly(s)
Courage -Waits...left alone to fight the "good-fight". The very beautiful... Butterfly(s) COURAGE -  Waits to meet yet "Another - Night" alright?...RIGHT!  Amen. Amen. and AGAIN  I  SAY..., Amen.

Amen indeed. "I declare to you brothers and sisters, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable. Listen... I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will be changed in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we who are still alive will be changed and will forever be with the Lord." Amen! That time is nigh. If you listen quietly, you can almost hear the footsteps of the Messiah. Enjoyed your thoughts. Blessings. rlc

The caterpillar phase does end no matter how long it takes. Then comes the glorious butterfly phase. Indeed good things come to all those who wait. Well said Georgia.

THIS COMPARISON OF HOW A CATERPILLAR 'WAITS' TO BE 'CHANGED' INTO A BUTTERFLY...TO HOW WE MUST ALSO 'WAIT' FOR 'CHANGES' TO COME, IS FINE AND DONE WELL. AS YOU'VE INDICATED, THE 'FRUIT' OF 'PATIENCE' IS NOT EASY BUT SO NECESSARY FOR THOSE THAT WALK IN FAITH. THANK YOU, GEORGIA, SO ENJOYED. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...HIS+INSPIRATIONS

Great story of the caterpillar!... from birth to becoming a beautiful butterfly it takes lots of hard work, courage, and determination.

It does not matter how or where one is born, you can be a rose living in a pile of mud, but the rose shines a bright light because it is a rose, and it serves a purpose to brighten up beautifying its surrounding!

And so is the caterpillar that is born a caterpillar, but in time it will become a butterfly.

Great job on the cute and beautiful painting! I love it!
