A poet is like a builder
who gathers his materials
building from scratch to finish
Transfoming words into feeling
sometimes he works with a plan
other times he writes randomly
At times he works diligently
Other times he is distracted
He works in stages
But with skill and creativity a work of Art is displayed
Milton, this writing speaks to me, because I never think of myself as a Poet...but as a storyteller... I never plan what I write when writing a "poem"....it just sort of spills forth...and I wonder how the real poets can create such beautiful words that seem to make such a difference in our lives...
