Illusory is the egoic self,
Devoid of existence.
Realities are not what they seem
Because to form the senses cling.
Therefore, break the attachment
By practiced release.

II

Almost all never give release
To the grip of egoic self
Or sever the attachment
To a separate existence.
We constantly cling
To objects as they seem.

III

Physicists prove that if the seam
Between quarks is given release
Infinite energy can no longer cling
To the egoic self
And a speck of existence
Will blow apart attachment.

IV

Steel-like is the attachment
Of clasped hands to what may seem
As quantifiably true existence.
Yet, the potential to release
The rigid, egoic self
Rests in relaxing the fingers that cling.

V

All sentient beings who cling
To the mirage of attachment
Act as slaves to the egoic self.
The universe may seem
To give release.
Now that’s denial of existence.

To accept existence
Be NOW, do not cling
To past or future release
With vise-like attachment
To scripts that may seem
Objectified by the egoic self.

VII

The egoic self defines existence.
Though we can just seem to cling
To “I” attachment and gain release.
