Play politics you man of the cloth

bend and twist words

proclaim them from God.

Insult fellow humans

as you bless the weapons

that kill your own brothers,

what in Gods name

is going on in your mind?

why in Gods name are you so blind.

If God were here now

I am sure you would kill him

because he would not be

wearing your garb

nor honouring your posistion.

What makes you so sad

is that you have no voice,

you have become the enemy

to those whom God rejoice.

Speak up you men

do not hide your faces

tell the people what really

God is saying.

Speak up or maybe you cannot

maybe God has not told you

what the people know,

that he will come

let the people go.

Let them be free

free of your lies

and the over indulgence

of what catches your eyes

God is more caring

than you can ever be

that is why he says

'The truth will set you free.'
