You read the news
but you shake your head
your still confused
nothing makes sense,
its like the world
is run by madmen
I'm sorry but its true ,
sad to say
its always been that way
since history began.
Making bombs beyond
what the world can take
dumping our junk
into outer space,
stripping the Earth
of our fresh air trees
to fill up the land
to fill burger buns,
killing the oceans
times running out
the madmen and God
are about to fight
I know on whose side
I want to stand
and its not standing there
with the mad men.
