Seems as forever
so many lost in death
me I wait expectant
that soon will be an end.
I wait with tears
that so many fall asleep
victims to the terrible things
that upon this Earth do creep.
It is the time
that I know
forgive me I am human
I cannot see children dying
without seeking explanation.
Waiting at the four corners
for your Son
to sound the charge
when all our expectations
will unfold
before our eyes.
I listen
I hear
still seems like forever
though it is near,
when
and only then
can we really say
