My life has been

a journey like

I had been led by the voice

of a Satnav.

Turn left

turn right

after 300 metres

you've arrived.

That voice has led me

all over the place

from London

to Venice

to Aberdeen,

Plymouth

Lands End

St. Malo

Innsbruck as well

even despair

sometimes into deepest mental hell,

trying fight

against great loss

then that voice has led me into

somethings that have made me soar

bought me so close to God

that I shiver inside

as I recall and smile

never let the batteries

of my Satnav run dry.

From where my journey began

in Loughborough

to where I am now

in London

let that voice direct me

that voice from behind

lead me where God wills

to where I belong.
