My favorite place in London, is to sit at South Bank, just watch the people passing by.
Just watching people
passing me by
out in the Sun
it is such a nice day.
Hearing so many languages
from far and wide
London is so diverse
makes me kind of smile.
Culture is a blessing
not like a Big Mac and fries
which only serves your hunger
where culture comes alive.
Albeit Appalachian music
Asiatic dance
or Japanese Sushi
its all along the South Bank pass.
People are friendly
most look and smile
none of this political
or religious divide.
A clown amuses children
he has done it
oh so
many times,
a guitarist
starts to sing a song
based on
the people passing by.
Me I sit and watch
half way through a cake
a Latte sits waiting
at this pace who knows
I may be here till evening.
