nosferatu's male lament

Poem Artwork

canines puncture flesh
with instrumental precision.
a quick rip-
a slighted tare-
as loves energy bursts open wide.

it's a course...

pulse quickens, as a tawdry
lamentation faithfully wields
a fixated pupil-
a convert defiled-
as this feast satisfies hunger.

it’s an act...

provocation heals no wounds
viral exchanges seed depths
a delivery-
a release-
as a refreshing reawakening

it’s an era

…and there’s no trail of blood

I like this, great imagery! If not for the title, I would have taken this to be about making love, though in a way it is. JJ

Intense and enlightening write that looks at man's most primal instincts in the times of the universe that man should no longer be feeling primal.
