When you believe it changes how you perceive You begin to understand only by God's grace will you see the promised land
When you believe God's gift of salvation you receive You understand your sinful heart needs to be cleaned and only by Jesus' shed blood can you be redeemed
When you believe Satan can no longer deceive You understand the gift of eternal life is free since Jesus died for your sins upon the cruel tree
When you believe the burden of your sin is relieved your darkness turns to light and your black heart washed pure white
