Even if I Tried...

I can leave any time I want to...the doors have always been open...but I remain in His Presence. Why? Because I have fallen in Love with Him. I am then...Jesus' 'willing' captive. I refuse to leave Him. But, you say to yourself, I Love Him too! So, what makes your 'Love' for Him so different from mine? And the answer is...absolutely nothing! However, I find when I am inspired to pick up my pen...most times, I write of 'Him'. This then, is my 'calling' and I cannot help it! Nor, do I want to! There is nothing 'holy' about me. I am a sinner(Gal 3:23)daily forgiven receiving new Mercies and Grace(Lam 3:22-23). My platform is that of, 'Inspirational/Christian Poet' and this I do. Thus, though I am often judged, even if I tried I could not turn around, for...as for me... it's Jesus! Do...or die! Pressing-on!

*Even if I tried...I* *could not cease...glorifying His name* *I am totally...sold-out* *never to stop...lighting His flame* <> *No matter how I'm ridiculed* *or scorned* *I share a Word to the* *world's* *...forlorned* *With my life...He speaks* *this is my mandated ministry* *for those so like me, yes...* *the hard-pressed...the weak* <> *There's purpose in my songs...* *that warn; even if* *we do fall...* *we can go on... after all* *We are all so imperfect, indeed...* *none without sin* *but there's still...a victory to win!* <> *Survive, we will and climb... we must* *we will not ... give up!* *whereby, there is 'urging' ...* *in a..sometimes...bitter cup!* It's when we attempt to scribe our own...destinies that we find ourselves...undone sinking... in 'ego' seas <> The gifts within aren't our own but for the earth this seed was sown not just for now is this light lit but generations ahead...will profit Press-on, I say! and remember... we cannot all be on top! but whether the middle or the bottom... to Jesus...? really, it matters not! <> Thus, we stay our mapped course doing what His Spirit enables us...without neglect Some may point, but in the end God alone sees heart's purpose... and its full effect <> From the outter rim of poetic clan... no matter the oppression I raise my hand and take a stand Thus, for me...it is Jesus...do or die for, I could not keep silent, albeit... Dear Joyce,

I been a fan of yours for years now and I too cannot rest.
To love Christ is to put Him first, for He is higher than the rest.
I will wander a bit to and fro and write a silly poem now and then.
But my main focus is on Jesus, he is my Father, my mentor and my best friend.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Being In His Presence!!
People "living in the world" do ridicule unfortunately
they manifest and are stuck in all the ways of sin
while seeking to please and gain approval of "mankind"
over seeking the shelters and approvals to please the Lord.
I too have forsaken Our Lord while "living in the world"
it is through His Abundance that I am In His Glorious Light
to see my own personal journey. I am so utterly Joyous!!
I like how you mentioned the forgiveness each and everyday
some people stay in a vice grip of the past to crucify...
It's a song and dance that only the Lord can change
