When the earth is opened above and below
when all chains are broken, all let go
Who will wake you…on that morning?
When the Son shall burst the sky
when He returns with trumpet’s cry…
Who…will wake you on that morning?
When Lamb of God shall claim His own
when all shall rise, those alive or prone
Who will…wake you…on that morning?
Of whose army will you be a part?
where now…your allegiance?
where now…your heart?
We cannot straddle, pride’s fence
we cannot serve two Masters
God alone...is our Defense
Fooled be not by vain speculation
for Emmanuel shall...raze
every...evil...calculation
When night vanishes, with Glory's puff
when whom we've served...reach...for us
Who...will wake you...on that morning?
When the Groom beckons, to the wedding feast
when those who endured, enter His retreat
Who will…wake you…on that morning?
When all sit down at the table…there
partaking of the promised fare
Who will wake you…on that morning?
Will you have heard your Savior’s call?
or…have been consumed, not present at all?!
It’s on…this side…nonsense must cease
it's on…this side…atonement must be complete
There’s no forgiveness at ‘book of life’ fate!
the hours are running out…the end...at our gate!
Come, come…come now to the Lamb!
while His Mercy is still...Dawning!
Oh, please! Do, come now...thus...
Jesus!...He'll wake you…on that morning!
