Inspirations came on the wings of…The Spirit

filling a Book…with His Words from above

Words…such as the 23^rd Psalm, or even…

‘for God is Love’

So tell me…is one scripture

greater than the other?

is not one line from God

just as important as another?

Certainly, we all have our favorites

but that’s not what I’m alluding to

for I've erred while seeking God's Word

in places of...familiarity...not a few

Can we not find reasons to extol Him

outside of the verbatim syllable?

what of just these two Words; ‘Jesus wept’?

a scene that renders all our tears…consolable

Often letters don't form a ‘feel good’ Word

the overshadowing of conscience can prick

and when... His Light...hovers and soars

sometimes, Thank God,  His Words can convict

But should we not leave ourselves open?

because  minute or great, truth can’t be denied

take an opportunity and perhaps find...a token

instead of avoiding texts,  let Him abide

‘In the beginning God’

these words...rock our world

God chose them well, indeed

His Supreme Existence…thus, to unfurl

Still there’s, ‘Even so, come Lord Jesus’

His letter ends with credence to His Son

this lets us know...He’s  entirely in charge

and not to worry, the battle is already won

From Alpha to the Omega

each Word is ours to have and hold

He’s Creator and Friend...ignore no imparts

His Word by faith will make us whole

So read…with open sincere hearts

every...Word...that He has given

He Loves us so, and there's good reason

as each phrase will strengthen our liv'en

Step out of verses that fit…like an old shoe

don’t be stagnant like wing-clipped birds

visit those scriptures that you'd rather not

read all…as much needed is…His Words!
