If the enemy can convince us that there is no need for repentance, then we will not turn to God for forgiveness when we err. The more we are convinced that we don't have to continuously repent, the more we will continue to err and never turn to God for forgiveness. Our wrongs will pile up and blind us and soon we will think one of two ways; we will think that we don't have to repent because we've done no wrong or we'll become convinced that it doesn't matter that we're doing wrong because we are already forgiven. Now it's true that Calvary made a way of escape for us through the Blood of Jesus, but the word of God clearly tells us �if� we acknowledge our sins(1Jhn: 1:8-10)God will forgive us. In His Word, God also warns us in Rev 3:3-5 that we must repent for our errors or our names that are in His Book will be blotted out of His Book and He was speaking to His 'saved' 'church members'! Jesus, who knows the true intent of our hearts, hears us even before we call and forgives us. Why? He Loves us! And He�s teaching us how to Love Him! Even though we know from His Word that we, 'crucify Him afresh', when we come short, He's not tired of forgiving us over and over again. So the question is; when do we grow...'tired'...of hurting Him? Amen and Pressing on!

We promised Him to never ever do it anymore then tripped, going right back thru that door and we can’t ignore- it hurt Him to the core But it's all right despite the...bore ...He's not tired When we got entangled again in that wren we disappointed our true st friend but engrafted vine charity did not end we only need cease and turn again ...He's not tired With repentance- His forgiveness is always ours especially in these last crucial hours and, of course, there's mercy and grace yet, can't deny, we do hurt Him to the chaste but...He’s not tired Between us and damnation is His stand He’s the only hope of souls on earthen land One day, we pray to 'get tired' of hurting Him but until then…He'll pardon every repented sin He’ll answer us even before we call *and rescue from wherever* we might fall He just Loves us that way – without a stall! In one sense, when it comes to forgiveness, God's thinking is more like that of a little child. And for goodness sake, I don't mean that disrespectfully whatsoever. Please allow me to explain: children are so resilient. When we punish them for doing such and such, they may feel hurt because of our actions, but in the end, they are such forgiving little souls and love us just as much as they ever did. And so it is with our Heavenly Father: He loves us, He forgives, and He even forgets by casting our sins as far as the East is from the West.

I love this! My father always taught me to forgive. He'd say, "Do you dare put yourself above God not to forgive?" SHOT DOWN!!! To this day, I forgive no matter what. Thank you so much for reminding me of the way I was taught.
