I am going through something, it's a difficult time and all I can say is…BUT GOD!!! Pressing-on! Amen

Poem Artwork

With the heaviness of despondency hanging low

its weight is felt more than some I’ve come to know

and yet, I go through…enabled to stand…

because of an…Unseen Hand

My aching soul reaches to…Him

the Eternal God…who has always been

A sheltering tower…with Waters of Love

falling perpetually from above

And, I’m Strengthened…as no one else can

by Him whose Word… is command

What will unfold on tomorrow within new hours?

I have no idea what comes…sunshine or showers

but I know each day I persevere in this land

is only because of…His …Unseen Hand

Psalm 89:13, Isaiah 41:10

Hello JMS Bell. My name is georgia mcdowell. I want to thank you for sharing this valueable, and such a wonderful poem. "Unseen Hand" is pleasant reminder to the children-of-God everywhere that God has not forgotten us.Such a great thing to remember that "God's Unseen-Hand" will carry us through ANYTHING! It is written:"Wait...on the Lord, and be of GOOD courage, HE shall strengthen thine HEART; Wait on the Lord". At age 18yrs, old accident-hit to my head, left my full - body in total paralysis,...No memory at all, Not even able to SPEAK. But..., God! Had His plan for my life.God whispered to-my heart:"it's not always going to be like this!" OUR FAITHFUL, LOVING God is Rated, P.G.F.I praise God forevever, especially for what I can not see. I was really BLIND...by the sickness, I could not see,had to press my body-hands against the walls-to crawl forward with my body.I KNOW that God-placed VICTORY inside - of-you already.Write-on!,Right-on!

We are adaptable people that can survive almost any kind of discouragement and abuse. But karma has its way than those that persevere like you have shown in this poem, and often end up on top of the world, in this world. Evil seems to have a short life that we can outlive if we only persist.

Dear Joyce,

This poem is a masterpiece. It cleverly tells the reader of the "Unseen Hand" that guides us through our lives. It makes us aware of His hand helps us to get through the most difficult of times. This is time precious, our time spend with the Master Physician.

May He heal you physically, emotionally and mentally. God knows, you are doing GREAT spiritually! May that strength heal other souls who are hurting in the spiritual realm. Jesus is with us, now and forever.

Love and Blessings,

John Michael

God gives us strengths to move on. He builds up our confidence as HE walks with us.

This is a lovely, lyrical poem with its beautiful rhyming sequence that transcends the heaviness of the subject matter to lift the spirit into the "unseen" but "surely felt" Hand of God.

Depression, unfortunately, my friend. When it hits it hits and at times the only thing that is my salvation is to think about how God knows our outcome and we must just put it in His hands. I'll be keeping you in my prayers for sure!

Hugs!

Jane
