The costant fight for love

What is love

Love is a battle field

Full of deceptions and lies

Trying to stake claim of what is true love

True love is in the people who seek it

The feeling of another that completes them

Shows them something their missing

Us as soldiers

Looking seeking that love that knocks us flat

That takes us back to that distant place

That place we seldom see the place where we are happy

We fall for traitors who claim they know what love is to you

They pull us in with false hopes and promises

Then keep us with hopes and thought of redemption

With me on the outside
breathing on the glass,
trying to get a clear view. I need to see that you're human,
and you're not just some figment of my
over active semi conscious insane behavior.
You're human and God like all wrapped up
into one confusing mess,
I don't know whether to kneel at your feet,
or...Run for cover.
People tell me true love exists,
but how do I know that;
when you do something so imperfect to others but perfect to you
I feel embarrassed, annoyed and ashamed.
I'm on battle field of love
Seeking some the one who will show me true love
and let me in.
Because my imperfections are her perfections

And her imperfections are my perfections
