Stuffed Away

Pictures in a box
Stuffed away
Faces of yesterday.

Little white house
Picket fence
Blocked memories.

Mommy and Daddy
Sister, Brother
Parts of me.

Happy smiles
Sad faces, photos
Black and white.

Pictures in a box
Lost childhood
Stuffed away.

Many photos and memories seemed to be put away like that. I started writng a poem about a black and white photo of my dad and never did finish it. I'm currently going thru picture alblums, boxes, and putting pictures into large Gallon size clear plastic bags , to seperate them . I hope to make a family photo elbum for each of my children , complete with old family pictures from the past to the present. Its quite an undertaking. I want to have it done by Xmas. time will tell...M
