Someone I used to know liked to say, "Sometimes you have to make your own sunshine." True enough; yet, it seems impossible when you are weighed down and all seems dark around you. I think it helps to remind yourself that Jesus IS the light. You know He is always the light on your pathway, showing you the way to go. He is always the candle in the darkness, promising an end to the darkness.
I pray the darkness will be lifted for you, and you will feel the warmth of His light.

Two days of rain ahead for me...outside.
But it hasn't started yet- and in 5 minutes- a walk to the Spa for a breakfast date. I think I'll beat the rain. (Or need the hot coffee more.)
Chances are- for now- the sun shines inside me, the rain comes from outside.
Time can flip that on a dime.
