And, Then I Awoke
Deep within a dream state appeared
A lush and magnificent mountain.
Standing at its bottom, I admired
The beautiful, colorful and lush foliage.
This mountain was very, very tall
And, I had an undying determination
To see the other side of its beauty.
I was absolutely certain, it was greener.
I lifted my arms and effortlessly
I was flying and soaring to the top.
No words could describe its beauty.
Or, the serenity which engulfed me.
Overwhelmed, reaching the other side
Its beauty was like no other I’ve seen.
Every inch of ground, covered in foliage.
Every color of the rainbow surrounded me.
I landed, planting my feet on the ground.
Turquoise water surrounded the mountain.
Every shade of color, vibrantly in display
People so serene, yet unknown.
I asked, where am I, where is this place?
They turned and looked at me.
No one answered, they only smiled.
I knew that very moment, this was home.
And, then I awoke!
