Some words from Psalm 42 come to mind..."My tears have been my food day and night, while they continually say unto me, 'Where is thy God?'
Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted in me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise Him for the help of His countenance.
"O my God my soul is cast down within me; therefore will I remember Thee from....." Here he remembers times when God did seem near.
In the last verse, he repeats verse 5 with one difference: "Why art thou cast down, O my soul? And why art thou disquieted within me? Hope thou in God; for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God."
I pray that God will renew your faith daily, and help you and your husband to know Him more deeply and feel His love moment by moment.

Wow, I keep looking at the 5 last lines.
I imagine what they are to you, I know what they are to me.
It is as if I have been so stuck there.
The words, "Move on" echo around me- but I stay there.
I may, at last, be finding some clues for my escape.

The connection between the spiritual soul and the romantic heart is often queried and wondered about and your heartbreak story is all the more intense because of this. It makes one asks such questions as is the heart truly capable of feeling or just a mechanical organ. Great write Deborah
