Open the Door

Hours and days spent wondering why

Every road turned you continue to try.

With every breath felt out of control

The reality of it all has yet to be told.

Today is a door we open to travel

It can be smooth or full of gravel.

The choice we make is ours alone

Each and everyone will lead to home.

When it’s dark and you’re afraid

Speak to your Lord, its okay to pray.

Open the door, his light will pave the way

A heavenly stairway will be built today.
