Dear Santa,

You’ve asked me…

What do I want for Christmas?

I want the same gifts

That I asked for last year.

No, it’s not a teddy bear.

I want to watch their excitement

As they open their gifts.

I want to fill their hearts with joy

With each and every toy.

I want to feel their precious kisses

As they plant them upon my cheek.

Today, tomorrow and even next week.

Dear Santa, remember?

Their presence is a present for me.

Their love is the greatest of these.

And, I’m grateful to my Lord

For my gifts, forevermore.

Deborah, you know as a mall Santa day after day I hear children and adults ask for material possessions and it often makes me sad but now and then, a child, a teenager or even an adult like yourself will ask me for something beautiful and renew my faith in the magic of Christmas. Thank you Deborah

How sweet. The most precious moments in life are those when the family is gathered and the children glisten brighter than snowflakes. Well pictured. Hope your wish comes true!
