Today, my husband wrote me a poem. He watches me everyday write, be it a poem, working on my 3 books, etc. I think he felt he needed to. He wrote this poem as I sat here multi-tasking between 2 poems and writing 3 books.
DON’T STOP Don’t stop, Don’t stop, doing the things you do They are the reasons I love you. My ruffled edges you make smooth The way you watch my every move. Don’t stop, Don’t stop, doing the things you do They are the reasons I love you. Your loving hand, My cheering band, Your sassy way, Your love each day. Don’t stop, Don’t stop, doing the things you do They are the reasons I love you. You let me be the Man I am. Letting me do what I can. This is precious Deborah
Inspiration is such a beautiful thing,
I enjoyed his every word spoken
I know my hubby is always
saying the most romantic & remarkable
phrases that I always write on & now
he always says "No you can't use that in a poem!"
But I do :)
