Do you have a mindset that you have to give back as soon as you receive kindness, an object or a complement? It takes practice to receive with ease!
The proud eagle soared in the sky. He said: I am uncomfortable receiving so many blessings! Oh Sun, what can I do for you? You have been so kind to me. Oh Wind, what can I do for you? I always felt you near me supporting me. Oh Land, what can I do for you? You have been a source of food and nourishment for me. Wind’s whisper echoed in the canyons from the four corners: Receive with ease our Universal gifts! Soar in the sky with ease. All we ask is that you be Yourself! This is the best way to give back! Shervin, this is wonderful in my eyes~ What a great way to convey this message....in a vignette just as you have created here. I truly appreciate the conclusion and the way you have capitalized and underlined and exclamation-pointed the word: "Yourself!" For I understand this whole poem, but especially that word "Yourself!" to be speaking of 'authenticity.' I like to spin that outward to be saying we ARE the wind, sun, land and therefore need not be beholden (especially obligatorily) to parts of ourselves which are together and one with all of life. Totally insightful. Thank you. ~~ Diana

I hope to accept a kindness with grace. But I do not want to accept stuff. Stuff fills my world and I want to give it back.

I've had my share of good fortune and I'm glad for that. There's no way that I could pay back anyone or anything for that.
