Our modern day lives seems to rush us past the the obvious ways to conduct ourselves. We half listen, and you are correct when you use the word 'assume.' My daughter told me one day, "Dad, you should never assume."

God gave us a brain, and he expects us to use it.
But curiosity ends when we accept religion--any religion--as the truth.

Many people like to make assumption on other people's lives without personally really getting to know them first. They often misread another's words, and make their own conclusion. How sad!!!

You are right in your poem about "curiosity". It is good to have curiosity about another, and it ends too soon when we begin to make assumption in others. We must read into another's words carefully and not jumping into conclusions by ourselves about them. What others do in their lives are them, it has nothing to do with us. But to misread others and then write mocking poetry about others is totally wrong. We all need to learn, and we all need to grow up; but unfortunately some people will never grow mentally.
