The secret war where foes and friends are one

The secret war everywhere and yet the enemy is nowhere The secret war with many near deaths and yet still alive The secret war with intense fear and horror, yet no sound of bombs The secret war with many wounded, yet not with bullets and knives The secret war that showing up in glamorized faces and tan bodies The secret war that showing up in the poor and rich households The secret war that is heard through screams and cries in private The secret war that is played in the heads of adults and children when alone The secret war that has no earthly survivor The secret war for the sake of growth and discovery The secret war that is reached a temporary truce by numbing self The secret war that is lived through by love, acceptance and faith The secret war where foes and friends are one The secret war that is participated by all and yet denied by many Copyright . 2016 by Shervin Hojat
