This poem is inspired by my new book, "God with Us." This book can make an extraordinary difference in the way we perceive God, one another, ourselves and the world. The author gives a moving autobiographical account of his daily experience relating to God.

God with us is sufficient to enable us
To be all that we were meant to be,
To do all that we were meant to do,
And to have all that we were meant to have.

But without God-consciousness
We cannot be fully human,
We cannot know who we are,
We cannot know Whose we are.

God with us is something other and
more than God is with us;
God with us is the essence, beingness and nothingness;
God with us is God loving us with
Fatherly love that says we are His
children.
God with us is present tense reality regarding God's relationship to
human beings;
And the assurance that except for a brief period of time human beings
cannot be unaware of God's
presence that is heard in a bird song,
feft in a breeze, and seen when looking at the sky that may seem
to be close enough to touch but remains in the distance far beyond
our reach.

God with us is God above us,
God beneath us, God around us and God within us, in everynow - the eternal now.
