It's all about meaning; not your possessions or who you think you are. Apart from meaning all else can be considered rubbish or excrement.
What is the meaning of your life? This question life asks everyman from the day he is born until he dies.
What is your answer to this question?
Meaning is the principal thing. It cannot be created; only discovered. Most people have less meaning in their lives than they desire or is necessary for healthy living.
Meaninglessness, not meaning, occurs when we neglect caring for our souls. While most people have some meaning in their lives, they have less than is required for meaningful living.
Some symptoms accompanying meaninglessness or less than sufficient meaning for dynamic living are: stress, guilt, anxiety, apathy, hopelessness and saddness.
When we express empathy, compassion and love and live in the present we expand meaning in our lives. Developing higher- consciousness and God-consciousness are powerful ways of producing meaning. But education, wealth, freedom, democracy, religion, the American Dream and success (as commonly defined) do not help a person to discover or expand meaning. Some people living meaningless lives have these things and they are among the most unhappiest.
Soul-completion, the ultimate reason for humans being on Earth, is the fruit of meaning. In discovering and expanding meaning a person cares for his soul. It is the degree to which soul-completion work on earth has been accomplished that will determine whether or not a person will be returned to earth for another opportunity to do soul-completion work or be admitted into Heaven to spend eternity with God. The challenge: discover and expand meaning in your life. Become "by meaning possessed."

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
