Joy is a greater thing than pleasure or happiness.
Pleasure relates to being cheerful.
Happiness is a feeling of exhilaration that comes from
temperate and favoring circumstance.
Joy is a state of consciousness centered in soulful
delight rather than from cheerfulness or favoring
circumstance.

You can experience pleasrue or happiness without
having joy and joy can be experienced with or without
pleasure or happiness.
Unlike pleasure and happiness, joy can be experienced
during suffering.
You do not have to become rich, have more friends,
lose weight, or be smarter to have joy. Joy is a
spiritual gift. But you have to ask for it.

Joy resides in human potential and by choice it can
be activated and perpetually actualizing.
Money cannot buy joy but joy can attract money and
many other benefits.
Joy can help you become more fulfilled, relaxed,
and peaceful.
Having joy is your responsibility and keeping joy is
your responsibility.

No person or circumstance can steal your joy. You
cannot be divested of your joy unless you give it away.
To give it away is to lose it. Your joy is your joy and
it is meant only for you. But you have the power to
rid yourself of joy.
Your joy can live as long as you live.

Don't give away your joy. There are those who
want you to be divested of your joy, not that they can
receive it, but they resent you having the
benefits that joy affords you.
The good news is nobody can take from you
your joy. No, not even the Devil.

   Than to express joy with freedom of the spirit
   What more felicity can fall a human being.
