Belief and faith are available to
everyone.
Faith can achieve what belief cannot.
It's your faith; Faith can do it.
I believe.
I have faith.
There is a distinction between belief and faith.
I can believe and have faith simultaneously,
but faith cannot be undercut by belief.
Faith transcend belief.
The difference in belief and faith is a matter of kind, not degree.
Belief is a state of mind in which a subject
roughly regards a thing to be true , a feeling
that someone or something exists.
A person's belief is what he does, what he
practices and the kind of response which
he makes to the current demands of life...
the inner consistency of his basic behavior.
Faith is something more than acceptance
that something is true .
It is a state of being ultimately concerned.
If a situation or concern claims ultimacy it
demands the total surrender of the person
who accepts the claim... it demands that
all other concerns... be sacrificed.
It is reliance and surrender to what a
person agrees to be true .
In every act of faith there is the awareness
on the part of the executor of faith that there
may be the possibility for doubt.
In faith the result is never a sure thing.
Such was the case with Jesus when faced with death on the cross. He said "Father,
if you are willing, take this cup from me;
yet not my will, but your will be done."
(Luke 22:42).
Faith has no competitor and there is not
anything that can be compared to faith.
The elements possessd by a person
exercising faith are acceptance, surrender
and trust which enables him to take a leap
of faith and plunge into the realm of possiblity,
being limited only by his imaginaiton and the
revelation he posesses.
"God breathed into man and he became a
living soul."
In the exercising of faith the breath of God
becomes the breath of Life.
With faith a person dares to be himself in
the eternal now.
What nothing else can do, faith can do it.
If faith fails to do it; it is a done deal
because there is no incompleteness or
failure in faith.

Belief and faith have certainly helped people get through hard times when they had no options. Those that do get through hard times often claim that their belief and faith carried them through. However, those that do not get through hard times are silent because they are dead.
