It takes time to make ready
your heart to sing

FIND TIME IN YOUR DAY
By Uriah J. Fields

Find time in your day...
to take a moment to be silent and still...
to embrace a memory of an experience
    that made you glad...
to bracket a promise that your Maker
    made to you...
that cause your heart to sing.
Sing a song of joy, a new song, your
    own song.
Your soul asks, "How can you not sing?"
The resonding you hear is: "You cannot
    not sing."
For in the eternal now you are a song.

I love to burst into song. And sometimes, it even sounds fairly good. It seems like it doesn't respect the time, it just overcomes me like when I sing every morning, "Good morning America, Hawaii!," Just before I get out of bed. My apologies to Arlo Guthrie for a very bad rendition of his song about the train, they call, The City of New Orleans. Actually, I'm telling my partner to turn on the morning news at 7 am.
