Passion...

After watching professional Argentinean Tango dancers you will be filled with burning passion and desire too…this is what I saw and felt…

In Argentinean fashion…
Passion… that lives deep, within,
Beyond your flesh and bone.

The passion
That ignites the fire between two ions,
That melts the stone,
That spreads like a web under your skin,
Dissolves two souls,
And sinks two ships into a sea of sin,
Creates this crazy cyclone
And spins two loving spirits
Into the dancing zone.

It makes them moan,
By becoming a thunder storm
It fills their hearts with hot desire.
Embraced with the tango’s tune
They glide with passion,
They move like a wind but in orderly fashion.

 Accompanied by violin and Bandoneon,
They move with loving caution,
They hug and fly in the mist
With elegance and a gentle twist,
They blend with grace, they mend and bend
To embrace the moment
With a stolen kiss.

From the Boca and Avellaneda "saloons" to the dives in Avenida Colon and your horse losing for a head in Palermo, the tango got its soul with the voice of Carlos Gardel and the "triste bandoneon en madrugadas"
No much of a dance per se, but a state of mind, a communion, a raging discussion of the feet and an abrupt statement at the end.
Yes, Argentinean tango can't be seen or hear, must be felt.

Georg

Very live depicting of the Tango's choreography. "Passion..." is an impressive poem, rich in symbolism; excellent vocabulary and imagery. It is a painting of the Thango's Dance in poetic magnificence.

Thank you for sharing your colorful art, and for this masterpiece titled "Passion..."

In appreciation,

Dixie Dawn Michelle
