Bare bones of love
being pined in front of me,
with the smell of baby powder,
to something worth
of admiration
and jealusy.
You can feel the magnificence
even through the
attachments
and the responsibilities
and the compromising.
Lovely Duets,
lovely moist eyes
ready to cry,
to buy tears for the pavement,
at any time
without hesitation
without the shame of weakness.
Trully incredible,
they make music
with laughter,
with bed games
with fights and smooth talks
about yesterday and tomorrow.
They open each others closet,
they rumble in each others head
and its so beautiful
and so brave.
Brave Duets,
holding hands
making us solos
look and feel like shameful mistakes.
