Why did I write this? Frankly I don't know. I think I am just feeling a bit mischievious.

Poetic Justice?
****************************

He stirred and opened up his eyes
Sunlight wove patterns on the ceiling,
He contemplated last night’s lies.
Tried to rid his guilty feeling.

He’d met her in a smokey Bar
She looked alone and all forlorn
He’d focused on her Golden hair.
She acted as a frightened Fawn.

He’d offered to buy, for her a drink.
Disarmed her with his winning smile,
He won her before she’d time to think,
With deceitful lies and winning guile.

They continued on throughout the night,
Danced slow and close across the floor.
He kissed her lips ‘neath pale moonlight.
Said he loved her, he wanted more.

He quickly found a Motel room.
Anticipation of a night of bliss
He took her then unto her doom
They slept on a long and lingering kiss.

He rolled across and climbed off the bed
She’d left sometime during the night.
He did not care, to him she’s dead
Another conquest, maybe tonight.

Went to the sink and washed his face
Looked in the mirror, paled at what he could see.
Written in lipstick, each word evenly spaced.
“Good morning Liar, welcome to club Hep “C”.

Oooooooh, you ARE a devil tonight, aren't you, Robin? (Yikes, that last line's a zinger!) Good work.

Robin:

I've heard this tale before. The guy was supposed to be a family man. Never had any extraarital sex except for that one time when he went alone on a business trip and met this woman in the bar of the hotel. (Well, that was how the story was told to me by my girlfriend. Her co-worker told her the story. Heehee!)

Oh, this is a sad story, isn't it?
