The Root, The Flame, The Storm
You walked through fire, and called it home,
Built strength from silence, and stood alone,
Though frost would bite and shadows scold,
You held a warmth that wouldn’t fold.
They taught you lack, they fed you fear,
Made love feel distant, never near,
But deep inside, you held a flame,
A sacred glow not touched by shame.
To fill the void, with softer listening,
You learned to give what you were missing,
And somehow in that aching space,
You met your soul, you found your grace.
You don’t need proof to know your worth,
Your breath alone reshapes the earth,
Your love is rare, it’s fierce and wide,
Like a river building a restless ride.
So let them wonder, let them try,
To name the fire that’s in your eye,
You owe no answers, just live your truth,
You are the storm, the flame, the root.
