Not my usual "funny stuff"....just some rainy day thoughts.....

Painful joints

Achy limbs

On swollen knees

Singing hymns

Praying quietly

Take me now

If it’s not my time

I don’t see how

I’ll go on

Inside this haze

Endless nights

Foggy days

Who am I now

What is this place

Why am I here

Whose wrinkled face

Eyes lifted up

Hope in my heart

I’m ready to rest

I want a new start…..

I have days like this, what with fibromyalgia and middle-age taking over my mind and body. But the sun always shines again and the pain eases up some days huh? Good write.

Oooh, painful knees, yes I remember those! I still can't kneel down yet for communion - or anything else - but no pain now, lovely. I just hope this was not totally personal feelings you are expressing, you are far too young and full of life to be feeling that way!! Jackie <> <

I felt the pain of this write; I can understand how you feel. I have pain myself; live with it daily! Rain only makes it worse; and it's a rainy, raw, nasty day today. NOT good on my achy breaky joints!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(
