Where Did It Go?
I'm not sure when I noticed
This passage of the years
But I know it takes my breath away
So I push back with my tears...
It's not that I'm afraid of death
I believe that there's much more
The end of this existence "now"
Will still leave my soul's core...
Perhaps it's just the wondering
Did I do all that I could
Did I give of what He blessed me with
Was the time I spent "for good"...
Reflecting back on lessons learned
When our time begins to shorten
We should disregard the petty moments
That we've TRIED - that's what's important...
Be always safe,
Karen
Anna
And right on target. Did I mention I am getting up there too.:)
GOD BLESS
Tony
When we were young, we had forever, not a care in the world. Now that we've aged (can we say matured?), we have many. Beautifully penned.
(((HUGS))) love and Merry Christmas!, Karla.
