GO BACK TO THE DUST AGAIN song lyrics/Words by Joel Sattler

When Egypt was in her glory
Building pyramids and sphinx
Did they know when they began
To make people into kings?
History is full of shadows
The gods themselves have gone insane

Turn a page it's all the same
Go back to the dust again

When the Romans burned the towns
Raped the women made them slaves
Salted fields and killed their men
Returned and won the Caesar's praise
Did they know what they had won,
And the measure of their fame?

Turn a page it's all the same
Go back to the dust again

When the French were trapped in splendor
And the peasants starved for bread
When they built the Queen a palace
Of the hungry and the dead
Did they think that they were better
Than the sorrow and the pain?

Turn a page it's all the same
Go back to the dust again

When the British Empire
Touched upon each continent
And they civilized the natives
By killing off the malcontents
Did they know what they were doing?
Did the pawns realize the game?

Turn a page it's all the same
Go back to the dust again

When America was founded
And the people were set free
And the populace was given
The right to find their liberty
Did they think it lasts forever
Can't you see it's all so plain!

Turn a page it's all the same
Go back to the dust again

Say Satan's an evil legend
Say God is angry in His cell
Say Moses lost the right to heaven
Say Jesus condemned to Hell
No one will admit to error
Nations all go down the drain

Turn a page it's all the same
Go back to the dust again

Still Living on my Feet is the follow up to Tichaona Chinyelu’s first book, In the Whirlwind, which was rooted in a sense of hard-hitting revolutionary black love. However, in this sophomore effort, Tichaona brings the revolutionary essence from deep
