I hope it doesn't push you to edge of a nervous breakdown,
I hope it doesn't leave you in utter despair,
I hope it doesn't make you cry like a baby,
I hope it doesn't break your heart regularly,
and
I hope you've never taken forty years to get to the end of a project.

That said,
it's a delight to work with you,
and,
if we can't make this work,
I hope you'll continue to consider
the use of my talents in the future,
